Upcoming CME Activities

PGA TOUR Experiences Opens TPC Golf Courses As Venues for Physician Medical Education Activities

Ponte Vedra, FL; Tuesday, December 18, 2007: Brandon Woods, Director of Corporate Development & Special Events for PGA TOUR Experiences announced today that PGA TOUR Experiences has formed a relationship with Fore!CME, a company involved in bringing a novel approach to medical education for physicians across specialties. Through an exclusive arrangement between PGA TOUR Experiences and an accredited provider of medical education, Fore!CME founder John Andrews sought to offer physicians the opportunity to acquire CME credits while taking advantage of PGA level golf play and instruction. "The concept is simple," Mr. Andrews explained. "Offer physicians the finest in accredited medical education, without pharmaceutical company involvement; conduct each CME activity at an exclusive world-class golf venue; follow CME sessions by providing participants the opportunity to continue medical discussions with colleagues and event faculty in a relaxing social environment where they can take advantage of PGA TOUR Academy instruction or golf as a social activity. Fore!CME emerged as a concept, and with the involvement of PGA TOUR Experiences and the accredited provider, is now a unique option for doctors to meet yearly CME credit requirements". The Fore!CME "Family Welcome" policy also helps busy physicians balance often scarce family time.

"We are extremely excited about the initiative Fore!CME has put forth, and how we, by offering world-class golfing venues as sites for medical education, might be able to help enhance the overall educational process" said Mr. Woods. PGA TOUR Experiences was instrumental in opening up nationally the Tournament Player Club (TPC) family of golf venues to physicians participating in Fore!CME sessions.

"We are very pleased to announce the initial Fore!CME events will be conducted at three exceptional and exciting TPC venues" Mr. Woods went on to say. "The initial venues include: TPC Scottsdale, home of the PGA TOUR's FBR Open, with hotel accommodations through the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess (Feb. 29, March 2, 2008); TPC Canyons, home of professional golf in Las Vegas, with hotel accommodations at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Las Vegas (March 7-9, 2008); and TPC Sawgrass, home to THE PLAYERS and the infamous 17th Island Green, with hotel accommodations at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa (Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, April 11-13, 2008). This is an exceptional opportunity for Fore!CME participants to experience first-hand these outstanding venues."

Greg Carroll, PhD, Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Healthcare Communication (IHC), the CME provider, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), worked with Mr. Andrews and applauds the Fore!CME concept, saying that IHC will provide two half-day workshops at each of the venues which will focus on enhancing clinician-patient communication. "The Institute for Healthcare Communication is very pleased to collaborate with Fore!CME and PGA TOUR Experiences," he said, in recognition of the value of "...high quality CME initiatives given in a relaxed, recreational setting where learners can socialize and play golf together following the lessons of the day." * **
